TORONTO — Gillam Group is once again getting ready to enter the hairiest month of the year…MOvember.
Company president Craig Lesurf has shaved off all his facial hair for the cause. It’s only the ninth time in his life he’s gone completely bare-faced, and eight of those have been forMOvember.
MOvember is a charity that focuses on men’s health, funding critical research and programs to tackle prostate cancer, testicular cancer as well as promoting men’s mental health and physical activity.
The cause is near and dear to Lesurf’s heart as a 16-plus year cancer survivor.
“In most cases, the outcome for men with testicular cancer is positive, but one in 20 won’t make it. I’m one of the 19 lucky ones,” he said in a statement.
“In addition to growing a truly majestic ‘Mo,’ I’m also on a mission to raise MO-money forMOvember, which operates solely on donations. The more we raise, the more significant the impact on men’s health initiatives for our fathers, brothers and sons.”
He has launched a personal fundraiser where those who wish to donate can do here:
In addition to Lesurf’s efforts, he is also teaming up with the Great Group of Guys and Gals from Gillam (5Gs).
Last year, the Gillam team took home third place in the Canadian ion Challenge, raising $54,500.

“I’ve been a Mo Bro for nine years and I’ve raised over $250,000 since 2017 thanks to the generosity of many people such as yourselves,” adds Lesurf. “I could not do it without you.”
