This week on The °µÍø½ûÇøion Record podcast digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Daily Commercial News staff writer Don Wall, who recently attended a webinar presented by the Urban Land Institute in Toronto titled “Redressing Black Displacement in Canada.â€

The webinar was moderated by Camille Mitchell, an architect with Gensler, and the discussion featured Angela Simmonds, manager of equity and access with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society; Itah Sadu, co-owner of Toronto’s A Different Booklist Cultural Centre; and Stephanie Allen, founding member of the Hogan’s Alley Society in Vancouver.

Don gives his impressions of the topics covered and presents a number of audio clips from the seminar with comments from Sadu, Allen, Simmonds and Mitchell and he also conducted a post-webinar interview with Sadu which we’ve included in the podcast.
