CALGARY, ALTA. — Canadian AI and robotics technology company, has announced a multi-year partnership with homebuilder ’ Alberta Division that aims to address housing shortages, affordability challenges and labour constraints by automating homebuilding across the country with AI.
Promise Robotics uses off-the-shelf industrial robots to manage the entire production lifecycle. This technology will support Mattamy Homes in delivering single-family, semi-detached and multi-family residences across two master-planned communities in Alberta.
Promise Robotics’ Factory-as-a-Service™ platform gives builders “push-button” home manufacturing, the company states.
“With Canada’s housing crisis too big to solve through traditional methods paired with the government’s promise to in Canada by 2035, Promise provides the solution to solving the gap in scaling housing across the country,” explains a release.
Promise Robotics’ Calgary facility is staffed by local workers and supported by local supply chains and AI.
