LNG Canada Expansion - Phase 2 - Kitimat

Political and construction industry representatives are optimistic that shovels will soon be in the ground for the $40-billion liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Kitimat, B.C. Premier John Horgan said in a statement prepared for the Journal of Commerce that he expects a decision within months.

OPG Small Modular Reactor Project (SMR) at Darlington

OPG’s Darlington SMR plant will use GE Hitachi technology. The 300-megawatt SMR will be constructed near OPG's existing 3,500-megawatt Darlington Nuclear Generating Station in Clarington, Ont.

Contrecoeur Terminal Expansion Project

The Montreal Port Authority is carrying out planning work for a $950-million Contrecoeur terminal expansion project on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. The °µÍø½ûÇøeurs Terminal de Contrecoeur Grand Projet consortium, consisting of Pomerleau and Aecon, was selected to do the design of the in-water works for the expansion project.
