TORONTO — The Request for Proposals (RFP) stage has closed for the North York General (NYG) – New Patient Care Tower redevelopment project.
The new tower will include patient care spaces and underground parking connecting to NYG’s existing building.
Following a Request For Qualifications process, four teams were shortlisted and invited to respond to the RFP in August 2025. The following teams submitted their proposals by the deadline: Building Beyond Alliance, EllisDon + Parkin, North York Healthcare Alliance and PCL °µÍø½ûÇøors Inc.
The project is being delivered through the Alliance delivery model.
Technical and commercial submissions were received and collaborative and behavioural assessments will be conducted this spring, a release reads.
The Alliance partner is expected to be announced this summer. Â
During the Alliance development phase, the partners will work together to advance the project’s design and mitigate project risks.
Project implementation is expected to begin following the conclusion of the development phase.
